Tax refund emails from HMRC

Have you received an email from HMRC stating that you have a tax refund due.

If you have, we are sorry to tell you but it is not real. HMRC never contact you about refunds via the email.

Unfortunately many people have been caught out by the emails over the years and they are getting more and more sophisticated in their appearance and the email addresses used.

I am sure that at this time of year the number of emails being sent out will increase, so please ignore them or if you have any queries please give us a call or speak to your accountant.
